A coordinator could use that first draft to prepare minutes, identify proposed owners, and draft a routine status note from the meeting record. These are documented features, not a measured productivity result.

The boundary matters. Notion says the feature requires Business or Enterprise, or an eligible mobile subscription, and desktop use has version requirements. Recording also requires confirming that participants have consented. The capture setup can affect what is heard: Notion notes, for example, that browser and mobile audio capture have limits. Run a bounded pilot on one recurring, low-risk meeting type, if policy and consent allow it. First note the time spent on manual minutes and follow-up. For a small trial, use Notion AI to draft the transcript summary and action list; verify each decision, owner, due date, and open question against the discussion and existing project record. Then record review time, correction effort, missed or misassigned actions, and whether stakeholders found the update clear. A useful result is an accurate record with less total effort and no added rework, not a polished summary by itself.
